Conil de la Frontera - a town in southern Spain, in the province of Cadiz, Andalusia. Located between Cadiz and Gibraltar on the Atlantic, in the beautiful Costa de la Luz. This area and especially Conil is also famous for tuna fishing. In the old town with it's many small, narrow streets there are numerous shops, bars and restaurants and plazas that lead down to the promenade in front of the beaches of Betales and Fontanilla with beach bars and all facilities. To the north lies the small fishing harbor built around the rocky bay of Roche, close to the lighthouse and the secluded cove beaches that go on until La Barossa in Chiclana. In the opposite direction, cross over the bridge and you find yourself on the wide un-spoilt  beach that leads all the way past the small village of El Palmar to Trafalgar and then on to Caños de meca, these are some of the most attractive beaches in Andalucía.

Vejer de la Frontera - A visit to the this white mountain village in which there are numerous attractions and some fantastic views, not to mention some great restaurants to try with a Spanish Moroccan blend. A two-kilometer-long city wall, four Gates and three towers makes this town not only exceptionally, the Moorish Castle, the Old Town, the priest's house and Iglesia del Convento de la Concepción makes this journey here a Journey into the past.

Tarifa - the southernmost city on the European mainland located at the narrowest point of the Strait of Gibraltar, where the Atlantic meets the Mediterranean. From here you have a wonderful view to Morocco. Due to the strong blowing wind this beautiful old town is a Mecca for surfers from all over Europe. Tarifa should be a destination in any case not just for this but also because of the many whale-watching tours and trips to Tangiers.

Caños de meca - This place is a general hippie haven and a place to chill, and is more for the open minded traveler. The beaches are beautiful with small coves that  can only be accessed by climbing over and under rocks (depending on the tide) the reward at the last cove, a freshwater waterfall! In the small town there are lots of nice markets which sell homemade jewelry and leather items. Cozy lounge bars make this a nice place for a drink or meal.

Gibraltar -  Visit this tiny piece of England at the southern most tip of Spain. A place full of history, with the famous apes at the top of the rock! A tax free haven that can make for a great day out shopping, with regular cruise liners and wonderful views it is always a busy and popular choice.

Cadiz: With history going back more than 3,000 years the oldest city in western Europe is definitely worth a visit. Just a walk around the city, criss crossing the tiny narrow streets which suddenly open up into big plazas with cafe's and restaurants full of life and daily visits from cruise liners, the cathedral, two big beaches and surrounded by the sea and with regular sea taxi's to Puerto Santa Maria and Rota and a unique atmosphere this really is a great place to visit.

Jerez: Only a 40 minute drive away is Jerez a most under rated city in Andalucía. With so much history and culture from just this one town. Birth place to Flamenco, the famous horses at the Royal School of Equestrian Art and of course the sherry bodegas that are scattered in and around the city. Along with some stunning architecture and a mix of things to see and do, you will easily fill your day. Also the location of the nearest airport to Conil.
